Manual Therapy
We specialize in manual therapy, movement and joint specific hands-on correction of alignment imbalances that impair strength, sensation, and function. These techniques include, but are not limited to: Mobilization With Movement (WMW), Graston, Gua Sha, and Strain Counterstrain (SCS).
Modalities
Modalities including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping and corrective tape, and iontophoresis can help reduce pain aid in your recovery.
Injury Prevention
Whether you are recovering from an injury or preparing for a new season of sport, our physical therapists can help you identify areas of weakness and develop a personalized program to help you reach your goals.
Post-Operation Rehabilitation
Our therapists keep up to date on the latest research and protocols to help you recover from your recent surgery. We will work with you to set personalized goals in order to get you back to where you want to be. We will also communicate with your surgeon along the way, to ensure a collaborative team approach.
Fall Prevention
Many injuries result from falls; at Mitchell Physical Therapy, we work with you to recover from these injuries and to address strength and balance systems to prevent future falls.
Pelvic Health
Whether it is care during your pre or postnatal time period, general pelvic pain, incontinence or prolapse, bowel or bladder dysfunction, we can help you navigate through this!
